Letter to Leader of Council

The following letter was sent to The Leader of the Council on 28 November 2005 - we will post the response when we receive one

Dear Mr Partridge

Re: Tesco Store

This is a letter we have sent to our district councillors wanting information regarding the Tesco issue. We believe as leader of the council you should be aware of the growing support within Sheringham for a Tesco store. The reason the voice of those that really did want Tesco to come to Sheringham has not been heard before was that it was felt that as we were the only town without a large food store the application would not be turned down.

We do intend to fight to get the Tesco store and with the response we have already received it appears that a large number of people in Sheringham and also from our surrounding villages are determined to be heard.

We hope that you will consider that there are a large number of people that do want Tesco's and already we have been inundated with letters supporting us and when these have all been collected we shall be bringing them to you. We look forward to hearing from you in due course.
Yours sincerely
Pam Blyth (On behalf on Protesc)
