Dear Sir or Madam
I would like to lodge a formal complaint against the decision taken yesterday and those
who made it.
In my view, those who voted against the advice given by their own Councillors and with no
planning reasons are going to cost me money as a Council Tax payer.
There is absolutely no point in commissioning reports, only for those to be totally
disregarded. National Planning guidelines are also there for a reason and again, it was my
money spent on drawing them up.
Not only have they voted Tesco out, but unbelievably, they have voted FOR a plan which is
described as being a threat to the Town Centre. It also appears that they do not know if
their reasons for doing so are legal. They should have sought advice on this before the
meeting and not after.
I believe a full investigation is required into why they appeared to so blatently
disregard everything as it is not their money that will fund this, but that of the local
taxpayer.
I feel that this was one of the most undemocratic decisions ever taken, personal feelings
over-rode the wishes of many of the local people.
A response to this would be much appreciated and I will be following this subject
intensely.
Yours faithfully
