Any Competition Good Competition

I have just read your headline story in the North Norfolk News and would just like to say, yet again it is the traders' opinions that was sought.

I went to the market and although small I enjoyed the atmosphere, which was very relaxed and being able to look at a few different types of goods made a nice change. Well done to the Chamber of Trade.

However, the most telling comment in the whole article was the very last paragraph, which was made by Mr Andy Bullen, Chamber of Trade Secretary, and that was, "What I would say is that any competition is good competition, and if you have choice, then that is a good thing for customers."

Just what those fighting for Tesco have been saying for years, so either Tesco are not competition, or, good competition is only that organised by The Chamber of Trade!
