Dear Catherine

Re: Protesc Group

With regard to the above group we have decided that we would like to support Tesco coming into the town. One area of concern however is the fear that people look at Tesco as not being part of their community but there to strip the community of local shops. We believe that Tesco could in fact pay a greater part within any community and on success of your appeal to open a retail store in Sheringham we as a group invite you to do just that. One way of achieving this would be to have a forum where Tesco is represented along with members of the public and local shop keepers and to meet on a regular basis either quarterly or half yearly. The purpose would be to see what between the groups could be achieved for the town, i.e. Christmas lights, Carnival etc. This would show that by everyone working together everyone in time would benefit.
Yours sincerely
Pam Blyth
